I’m singing a piece called der Doppelgänger in German, composed by a guy named Schubert, which is a funny name because it sounds like trying to order ice cream but the cashiers all like “You’re pointing at sherbert but you’re saying Schubert!? Come on kid, I’m running an ice cream/classical music business here, not a gibberish clinic! Speak CLEARLY” Anyways, since it’s in German and you probably speak English let me explain the meaning of my acting choices for this piece. I’m singing about shitting on company time. I know it’s very misleading, the title, “Der Doppelgänger” sounds like it should translate to “the doppelganger” but it actually translates to “If y’all had gotten 2 ply instead of 1, I would’ve finished up in 20 instead of 45 minutes!”
